Don started his professional life in the media in 1997 as part of the team that set up TV3 Network Ltd, the first private television in Ghana.
In 2001, he joined the BBC Affiliated radio division of Multimedia Broadcasting Group – a company that owned and operated over 10 TV channels, 7 Radio stations and the most reputable News company at the time – Joy News. Don rose to the position of Sales & Marketing Manager before leaving in 2005 to start his first advertising agency with two of his colleagues.

The ability to transition from working full time for a huge organization to a self-employed person, juggling finances and managing a team, is a life changing experience that requires dedication, perseverance, passion and an objective sense of judgement.
Don stood up to that test, learnt his lessons and has since then started and run several companies, working with some of the most successful media practitioners in the industry today. He currently owns and runs Kojak Media Group, a company which controls several smaller companies serving the promotional products industry, the digital television industry, radio and a video strategy company that researches, produces and distributes content for businesses and broadcasting houses in the United States.

Kojak Media is a corporate video strategy and PR company that produces, packages and distributes high conversion, interactive videos to diverse platforms for businesses in the United States.
These videos are generated with a specific topic, product or issue in focus and the production and packaging is done with a target audience in mind. These parameters will determine the distribution methods which should be used and the type of campaign required.

Tribezone TV was initially set up as a subscription based digital on-demand platform. Tribezone OnDemand. The objective was to entertain and educate the African and African American population in the United States. Over the years, it involved into a channel that will serve the same target market but with a more socially inclined focus.
As the channel’s base grew, it gained recognition among its target community and sponsored most events in the Maryland, New Jersey and Washington states. One of the biggest events was the exclusive media coordination and coverage of the International Soccer Friendly between the Blacks Stars and the Canadian Men’s National team at the RFK Stadium in Washington DC.
